RED MIDGE LARVA

Hook:        Mustad 80250BR #16-20
Thread:     Red 8/0
Body:        Red V-Rib, or Red Liqui Lace (Midge)

Tie body material in behind eye of the hook, using open wraps to tie the length of the shank.  then bring thread back to the eye, and half hitch.  finally, wrap material side by side back to the eye, tie off, cut material, build head, and whip finish.

BLACK & SILVER MIDGE PUPA

Hook:        Mustad 800000BR #18-24
Thread:     Black 8/0
Ribbing:    Small Silver Wire
Collar:       Black Dubbing

Tie in wire behind the eye, and wrap thread solid over wire to the back of shank, then back to just behind the eye, and half hitch.  then with wire rib forward to thread, tie off and cut wire.  Add small amount of dubbing for collar, build head and whip finish.
